Thats not romantic ! You have to click the image though so its large and you can just see little stars but they are just pixels - best I can do with a point ans shoot. Those stars and just too far away for a macro shot.
I want to get a better lens so I can photograph stars and nebulae soon. I will need a tripod as well but it will be worth spending some $ on because I am fascinated by it all and would love to have some non Hubble/NASA images
Theres a phtographer in my hood that takes photos of stars and nebulae and they just knock me out. I see his shots and I just want to be able to take some like that. I am not sure what lens he uses but I need to get one real bad.
I'm not sure if Carina is in reach. I think that maybe too far but there are some Nebula and Clusters that can be photographed. They need to be in the local region though and i think Carina is too far out there to be captured. I have loads of Hubble shots though to keep me happy with Carina's clouds.
